Can't stay after school for tutoring, attend POWER LUNCH. Every day we have time for students to Lunch and Learn! Students can ask their teachers how to get a pass to go.
After School Tutoring has begun! If your child needs extra help with completing assignments, have them attend! We have tutoring every Monday thru Wednesday from 4 - 5 pm AND provide transportation close to your home. See Mrs. Eads for details.
GJHS will be hosting a flu clinic October 8th from 1 - 3 pm. Students will bring home forms on Friday. If you want students to get flu immunizations from the school, complete the forms and return them quickly. If you have questions, please contact the school nurse at 750-8750.
Wrangler families, in order for us to provide uninterrupted breakfast and lunch programs for your student, lunch forms are due Monday, September 16th. If you would like more information, please call Child Nutrition Services at 750-8707.
Tomorrow is the Springdale Bands Carwash. The GJHS location is at 10 BOX (1101 S. Thompson). They will be there from 8 AM to ~Noon. If you need some of your dirt washed off your car, they can gladly help you with that!
Yesterday, in Mr. Rues math class, students were literally able to “balance” equations to solve for “x” with the help of this homemade set of scales. Thanks to Ms. Kyger, one of our awesome interns, for a great lesson and a cool visual representation.

Wrangler Football is officially back in season and we got pumped today with an incredible pep rally! GJHS band rocked, Cheer and Dance were incredible, there was sack racing, crab racing, piggy-back riding, and Mario Kart. So much fun!

Last week, Language Academy students at GJHS were excited to have the opportunity to climb aboard the Wheel Mobile Traveling Art Studio. Students were able to explore their creative sides and make some awesome pottery! Thankful for great community partners! #FeartheG!
George’s portion of the Pigskin Preview ended with our 9th Grade scrimmage! This group came ready to play and looked like they’re ready for the season’s opening kickoff... and so are we! GO WRANGLERS!

GJHS Cheer and Dance got the George portion of tonight’s Pigskin Preview off to a rocking start! These ladies are awesome!
We are excited to welcome Daulton Coffey to George Jr. High. He previously served as Varsity Defensive Coordinator, among other coaching responsibilities, and Middle School Social Studies Teacher at Watts(OK) Public Schools. He is entering his second year of teaching. He is currently Head Boys Track coach and Football assistant coach for the 8th and 9th grade teams here at GJH, as well as teaching social studies. He graduated high school from Green Forest, then attended Arkansas Tech and John Brown University. He graduated from JBU with a B.S.E. in Secondary Social Studies Education. Coach Coffey currently lives in Siloam Springs with his wife Mallory and their three dogs.
