GJHS FCCLA students attended the district 1 winter leadership meeting in Springdale Wednesday, January 26. District 1 STAR Events participants received their scores and medals in recognition for their projects, and those who placed first or second will compete at the state competition in March.
Additionally, Jayla Sterling, an 8th grade student at George Junior High, was officially installed as the new district 1 Vice President of Community Service.
